Vincenzo Malvone

Vincenzo "Vinny" Malvone, 87, of Natrona Heights, PA, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2026, at his residence, surrounded by his family, after a ten-year journey with Alzheimer's disease.

Vinny was born in Monte di Procida, Italy. He began his career as the captain of cargo ships in Italy, a role he held for 15 years, before immigrating to the United States, where he became the owner of J&S Pizza — a business he ran for 50 years and built into a cornerstone of the community he served

Vinny was, above all else, a genuine and kind-hearted man. He shook your hand when he met you and looked you in the eye. He treated every customer like family, and there was nothing he loved more than meeting people and making them feel welcome.

Outside of work, Vinny was a devoted fan of Napoli soccer and Ferrari Formula 1, and he found joy in listening to music. But above all, he cherished time with his loved ones — both here in America and on his frequent trips back to Italy to reunite with family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Maria Caterina Ambrosino; his daughters, Fiorella Barone and Debora Malvone; and his grandchildren, Daniela Barone, Veronica Barone Signorella, Vincenzo Schiano di Cola, and Luca Schiano di Cola. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Domenico Schiano di Cola.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Monday, September 14, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, 1522 Carlisle St, Natrona Heights, PA 15065. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 800 Montana Ave, Natrona Heights, PA 15065.
