Vincenza M. (Martino) Chilia, 85, of Natrona Heights passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born March 25, 1938 a daughter of the late Sebastian and Vincenza (Scopelliti) Martino. Vincenza enjoyed traveling, cruising, spending from January to April with her husband in Myrtle Beach. She enjoyed going on casino trips, especially her last trip to Las Vegas with friends. Vincenza was always available to babysit, and enjoyed knitting dish cloths for all her family for Christmas. She especially loved being with family, friends and extended family. She was also a member of Guardian Angels Parish, Natrona Heights Campus and involved with the former Blessed Sacrament Ladies Guild. Vincenza is survived by her husband of 60 years, Joseph M. Chilia, son George Chilia of Natrona Heights, brother Tony Martino, of Ohio, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents Vincenza was preceded in death by her, sons, Carl and Joseph Chilia, sisters, Antoinette Oberle, Mary Augustine, Josephine Snowden, JoAnne Raynovich, brothers, Dimitro and Pasquale Martino.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a parting prayer service will be held on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. in Most Blessed Sacrament Campus, Natrona Heights with her pastor the Rev.
