Suzanne "Suzy" M. (Jonczak) Rapp, 68, of Delmont, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 9, 2025. She was born on June 4, 1957, in Harrison Township, the daughter of the late Chester Jonczak and the late Margaret (Golier) Jonczak. She was also preceded in death by her brother Timothy Jonczak, her brother-in-law Gene Lattus, and her three cherished Yorkies, who are surely waiting to greet her.
Suzy was a force of nature in every sense of the word — fierce, unstoppable, and unapologetically herself — with a sharp wit, a love for a little harmless gossip, and an uncanny ability to spot anything out of place, and the satisfaction of pointing it out.
Suzy is survived by her beloved son, Chad, and his wife, Mandy, with whom she shared her home in Delmont, PA — and who, along with her precious Yorkie Trixie and French Bulldog granddog Lulu, were by her side through life’s challenges and its joys. Together, they shared in her stubborn determination, her quick humor, and the kind of fierce, all-in love that defined her life. She is also survived by her sister Mary Margaret Lattus (the late Gene), her brother Chester (Kathy) Jonczak, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Suzy took pride in her work as a branch officer of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association, Branch 313 St. Ann’s Society in Natrona, PA, and as a receptionist Composidie in Apollo.
Her family invites you to share your favorite “Suzy stories,” laugh at the memories, and celebrate a woman who lived on her own terms, loved her people (and her pups) with everything she had, and left behind stories that will be told for years.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a parting prayer service will be held on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 Noon in Most Blessed Sacrament Church.
