Susan A. Remaley

May 22, 1960 — June 18, 2023

Susan A. (McGough) Remaley, 63, of Lower Burrell, (formerly of New Kensington), passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 18, 2023 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born May 22, 1960, in the former Citizens General Hospital, New Kensington, daughter of the late Warren J. and Nellie Mae (Armour) McGough. She was a 1978 graduate of Springdale High School. Susan worked as a Senior Laser Printer Operator for Giant Eagle (Corporate Office) in RIDC Park for 26 years, before her retirement. Prior to working at Giant Eagle, she worked at Xerox for many years. She enjoyed vacationing at the beach, Disney World, gardening, bird watching, swimming, and ESPECIALLY spending time with her grandchildren and attending events they had. Family was everything to her and anyone that had the honor to know her, always knew how much she loved her family. Momma Sue was TRULY one of a kind, always lending a helping hand, and lit up the room when she walked in, always laughing at something, and being her fun-loving self!

Susan is survived by her children, Adeja Remaley-Hawkins (Derrick Hawkins) of Natrona Heights and Ian (Julianne) Remaley, of Lower Burrell and by her three grandchildren, Gwenyth, Cameron, and Evelyn, whom she absolutely adored. They always kept her on her toes! Susan was also survived by many nieces and nephews, her two sisters-in-law, Becky (Dave) McFadden and Deborah Remaley, along with Lynn, Guy, Phillip, Angelina and Jessica, and her grandpuppies, Veda and Coco, whom she all loved deeply. In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph P. Remaley on April 16, 2013.

Services and burial for Susan were private. Arrangements were under the care of the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., Natrona Heights 724-224-8688. To send an online condolence, please visit www.cicholski-zidekfh.com.
