Steffie M. Barent

Steffie (Dudiak) Barent, 97, formerly of Tarentum, passed away peacefully on

January 22, 2026. She was born October 6, 1928, to the late Peter and Mary

(Ploszaj) Dudiak. Steffie graduated from Har-Brack High School in 1947. She

enjoyed playing cards with friends, Bingo, and going to the casino. Her greatest

joy was being involved in the lives of her 3 daughters, 6 grandchildren, and 7

great grandchildren. She was a devout Catholic and member of The Most Blessed

Sacrament Church.

Survivors include Virginia (Jim) Rosensteel of Melbourne, Fl, Carole (Rick) Hoag of

Presto, PA, and Janet (Dan) Vorp of Burlington, NC with whom she was living,

Helen Dudiak, sister-in-law, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents,

Steffie was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, sisters Frances Kukowski,

Genevieve Dudiak, and brother Chester Dudiak. Steffie will be remembered for

her strong work ethic, belief in the power of prayer, and unwavering devotion to

family

Friends will be received on Thursday, January 29, 2026 from 5-7 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026 at 12 noon in Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights.  Everyone is asked to please meet at the church.  Burial will follow in St. Ladislaus Cemetery, Natrona Heights.  To send an oline condolence please visit www.cicholski-zidekfh.com.
