Shirley A. Montgomery

Shirley A. Montgomery, 91, of Natrona Heights, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. Shirley's faith was first in her life. She walked with God on this earth, and is now walking with Him in heaven. She was born June 10, 1935, in Rimersburg to the late Paul and Isabelle (Stewart) Walker. Shirley earned her associate degree and worked at Westinghouse as a Paralegal. She had an eye for interior design and enjoyed decorating her home. Above all else, her family and her church community were the cornerstones of her life. She knew the importance of Christian education and supported Cheswick Christian Academy for almost 50 years. 

Shirley and her loving husband, Robert, were married for 72 years and were inseparable.They lived in Wilmington North Carolina for 25 years and attended Myrtle Grove Evangelical Presbyterian Church before returning to the Pittsburgh area to be with their children and grandchildren. They continued to support Cheswick Christian Academy when they returned and they attended Cheswick Christian Fellowship.

 Shirley is survived by her husband Robert Montgomery; daughters Cheryl Garbark, Karen (Charles) Bostaph, Bobbi (Jason) Bozic; grandchildren Marci Macura, Joseph Garbark, Jeffrey Garbark, Christopher Garbark, Ashley Bozic, Amberlee Bozic and Aidan Bozic; great grandchildren Gracie and David; and her brother Paul Walker. 

Services and burial for Shirley were private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Shirley may be made to the Cheswick Christian academy, 1407 Pittsburgh Street, Cheswick, PA 15024.
