Rose M. (Lucovich) Morrow, 92, formerly of Natrona Heights and Brackenridge, passed away peacefully, with family by her side on Thursday, June 30, 2016, in Cleveland, Ohio. Rose was born November 26, 1923, in Lowellville, Ohio, to Joseph and Josephine Matulja Lucovich, and moved to West Winfield around 1928. Rose married Ronald Dewaine Morrow at St. Mary's Church in West Winfield and had three children: Mildred Ann, Ronald Dewaine Jr. and James Allen. She was a life-long resident of the Alle-Kiski Valley; most recently Brackenridge and Natrona Heights. In recent months, she lived in Marymount Village Nursing Facility in Cleveland, Ohio. She was a beloved member of Our Lady of the Most Blessed R.C. Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church , Natrona Heights. Her interests included family, traveling, gardening, and cooking. She devoted much of her time and energy to family; proudly as a caregiver to some. Rose especially enjoyed spending time with her brothers and sisters; children; many nieces and nephews; and , her beloved grandchildren. Rose is survived by her sister, Mary Majetich, of Newberry, Ohio; brothers, Joseph Lucovich, of Worthington, Peter Lucovich, of Meridan, Mississippi, and Frank Lucovich, of Ft. Worth, Texas; two sons and their spouses, James and Kelly Morrow, Ronald Jr. and Doris Morrow; son-in-law, Brian Alquist; 8 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Mildred Alquist; sisters, Ruby Krchnavy, Elizabeth Logan and Ann Schreckengost; and by her brothers, John and Marion Lucovich.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4, 6-8 PM in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a blessing service will be held on Saturday at 9:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 9:30 AM in Most Blessed Sacrament Church with her pastor the Rev. James Mazurek as celebrant. Burial will be in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Rose may be made to Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1526 Union Avenue, Natrona Heights, Pa. 15065.
