Robert F Peiffer

Robert F. Peiffer, 85, of Sarver, passed away after a six year long and courageous battle with lymphoma only to succumb to Covid pneumonia Friday, October 15, 2021. He was born November 21, 1935, in Natrona Heights to the late Clair & Esther (Leasure) Peiffer. He attended Freeport High School. Bob served his country in Germany in the United States Army from 1959-1962. Bob worked as Produce Manager for Friedman's Supermarket, Saxonburg. He was an avid Steelers, Penguins and Pirates fan and also enjoyed golfing, bowling and Saturday night card games with his family. Most of all Bob truly loved spending times with his kids. His famous saying being "God gave us 5 kids in 6 years but he knew what he was doing because he gave us the best of the best". Bob is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Renee (Schaltenbrand) Peiffer and their children; Kim (Mark) Phillippi of Natrona Heights, Bob (Penny) Peiffer of Sarver, Dennis (Roxi) Peiffer of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, Deb (Hub) Carson of Freeport & Scott (Kelly) Peiffer of Cabot, their grandchildren; Anthony, Ashley, Tara, Paige, Zach, Sam, Jon, Justine, Bri, Sarah, Brad, Alyssa, Grant, Shane, Jacob & Courtney and by 14 great-grandchildren with another due in April. Also surviving are his sister Marge Giesler of Harrisville & his brother Don Peiffer of Sarver. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brothers, Delmont (Hoss) Peiffer, Richard (Dick) Peiffer, and his sister Dorothy Stoops.


Friends will be received on Tuesday from 1-3 & 6-8 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688. A parting prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 a.m. in Most Blessed Sacrament Church with Rev. Aaron J. Kriss celebrant. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at 333 E Carson St., Suite 441, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.
