Richard J. Valenti

Richard J. Valenti, 67, of Natrona Heights passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025. He was born May 10, 1958, in Natrona Heights to the late Geno and Frances (Lang) Valenti.

In 2015, Richard retired following 37 years of service at Allegheny Ludlum Steel in Brackenridge. He was of Christian faith but church to him was a peaceful walk through Todd Sanctuary. Richard was a war history buff, a Pittsburgh sports enthusiast, and a Penn State fan. He enjoyed gardening, bird watching, and was deeply devoted to supporting his granddaughters in all their activities.

Richard is survived by his wife of nearly 40 years, Lois (Mills) Valenti, children, Rich (Lanna) Valenti, of Buffalo Township and Jesse Valenti (Dave Gallaher), of Pittsburgh, granddaughters, Veyda and Stella Valenti and by his sister, Gina (Rick) Kresiak, of South Buffalo Township and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his sister, Toni Overly and brother, Gerald A. Valenti Sr.
