Richard L. Bryant, age 84, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Though taken too soon, he faced his illness with strength and faith, unafraid of what lay ahead. He is now at peace.Richard was born on March 2, 1942, and grew up in Springdale. He spent most of his life in Natrona Heights, where he built a life rooted in hard work, family, and quiet dedication. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Following his service, he spent his entire career as a truck driver, eventually retiring from the United States Post Office.In his younger years, Richard enjoyed hunting, fishing, and bowling—simple pleasures that reflected his love of the outdoors and time spent with others. He was known for his strong work ethic, steady presence, and deep commitment to those he loved.Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Richard L. Bryant and Alberta Bryant.He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Bryant; his children, Jennifer (Bryant) Jennings and her husband Jeff Jennings, along with their children Joshua and Jillian Jennings; David Bryant and his wife Tricia Bryant; and Barbara Bryant. He is also survived by Patricia’s children, Jonathan Gibbs, Jason Gibbs, Kelly (James) Stolash, and Kim Quinlan, grandchildren; James Quinlan, Christopher (Lovely) Kozlowski, and James Stolash, and great-grandson Joshua Kozlowski.He is further survived by his sister, Doris Wright, and her husband KC Wright, along with their children Richard Wright, Louis Wright, Karen Wright, and Bobbi Jean Wright Vargas, and his brother Leslie Gutknect.Richard was a man of faith who found comfort in his beliefs. He lived a life of purpose and leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and devotion to family. Though he will be deeply missed, those who knew him take comfort in knowing he is now in paradise.Services and burial for Richard were private.
