Reginald C. Rykaczewski

Reginald C. Rykaczewski, of Brackenridge, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 25, 2026.

He was born on December 25, 1943, in Natrona Heights, to the late Felix and Helen (Siwak) Rykaczewski. Reginald was a 1961 graduate of Har‑Brack High School and proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army. He retired after many years of dedicated service from Allegheny Ludlum at the West Leechburg plant.

Reginald was a faithful member of Guardian Angels Parish in Natrona Heights and an active member of the Knights of Columbus Council 2602 of Natrona, Outdoor Life Lodge, and the Brackenridge American Legion Post 226. He also gave back to his community as a former Cub Scout den leader and a former member of the Brackenridge Recreation Board.

In his free time, Reginald enjoyed word searches, following Pittsburgh sports, and, above all, spending time with his beloved grandsons.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Darlene (Thompson) Rykaczewski; his sons, Reginald (Melissa) Rykaczewski Jr. and Craig (Kimberly) Rykaczewski; his grandsons, Logan and Nathan; and his sister, Patricia (Frank) Kushner.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of a parting prayer service at 11:30 a.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 Noon in Most Blessed Sacrament Church.  Burial will be in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Twp.  To send an online condolence please visit www.cicholski-zidekfh.com.
