Rebecca Jean Trimpey

Rebecca Jean (Shields) Trimpey, 63, of Lower Burrell, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at her home. She was born December 24, 1958, in New Kensington, a daughter of the late Raymond & Paula Mae (Bowser) Shields. Becky was a 1976 graduate of Kiski Area High School, where she was a member of the Color Guard. She was the owner of the former RT&T Construction Company and later worked as a secretary for Career Links in New Kensington. Becky was a member of the Burrell Community Church and most recently Christian Assembly of God. In 2003 she received the Carlow College Woman of Spirit Award which is awarded to recognize outstanding women, who are leaders in the community. Becky was an diehard Steeler fan, enjoyed golfing, spending time with her family and just being a grandma. She was known for her infectious smile and her love of her church.  Her family and friends loved her for her perseverance and strength thru any situation. She was truly angelic in every way . Becky is survived by her two sons, Chad Trimpey 34 (Brittany Trimpey) of Pittsburgh and Dakota Trimpey 29, of Harrisonburg, Virginia; granddaughter, Kennedy Jeanne Trimpey, siblings, Linda Shields, of Apollo, Judy Shields, of North Myrtle Beach, SC, James (Louann) Shields, of Upper Burrell and Dr. David (Theresa) Shields, of Harrison City and by her companion, Bill Hunt of Somerset.   In addition to her parents, Becky was preceded in death by her sister, Susan Shields.

Friends will be received on Saturday from 1-3, 6-8 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a funeral service will be held on Sunday at 2 pm. Officiating will be the Rev.
