Michael J. Wenke

Michael Joseph Wenke, 63, of Natrona Heights, formerly of Hazelwood, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. He was born August 10, 1953 in Hazelwood to the late Joseph T. and Jessie M. Sturm Wenke. Michael worked in the shipping/receiving department at East Liberty Electroplating until the time of his illness. Michael is survived by his longtime partner, Mary Beth Ireland: sisters. Bernadette (James) Kirby, JoAnn (John) Styslinger, Mary Ellen Wenke and Diane (Mike) McArdle. Also mourning his loss are nieces and nephews, Aimee (Matt) Butch, Marc (Robin Hatala) Kirby, Mike (Christina) McArdle, Melissa (Todd) Fantauzzo, Chris (Nicole) McArdle and many friends and family. Michael's family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses, aides and staff of Allegheny Valley Hospital, Life Care Natrona Heights and Consulate Healthcare of Cheswick for their care of Michael during his illness. Also a special thanks to the staff at DaVita Dialysis in Harmarville and Citizens Hose Ambulance Service, Natrona Heights.
