Michael J. Slomkoski

Michael J. Slomkoski, 74, of Sewickley, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, September 28, 2021. He was born June 4, 1947, in Natrona Heights to the late Anthony and Mary (Guggie) Slomkoski. Mike was a 1965 graduate of St. Joseph High School and received his Bachelor of Science from Penn State University. He worked as a plant manager most of his working career. Mike was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed wood working. Mike is survived by his companion of over 20 years, Gloria Vescio; his siblings, Candy (Greg) Petit, of Sarver, William Slomkoski, of Sarver and Jeannine (Steven) Stewart, of McMurray and by several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his brother, Anthony Slomkoski.

Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4, 6-8 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a parting prayer service will be held on Saturday at 12 Noon. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m in Most Blessed Sacrament Church with the Rev. John B. Lendvai as celebrant. Burial will be private.
