Melanie A. Napierkowski

Melanie Ann (Lucas) Napierkowski, 62, of South Buffalo Township, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Saturday, September 16, 2023. She was born March 18, 1961, in Natrona Heights to the late Harry J. and Dorothy H. (Napierkowski) Lucas. Melanie was a 1979 graduate of Highlands High School. She was enjoying retirement after working as a Quality Inspector for Oberg Industries for over 15 years. She was of the Catholic Faith. Melanie enjoyed going to the family camp near Cooks Forest, reading and decorating for the holidays, but what she enjoyed most was spending time with her family.  Melanie is survived by her husband of 43 years, Craig P. Napierkowski, children, Jeremy A. Napierkowski, of South Buffalo Township and Lea M. (Andrew) Marietti, of Upper Burrell and by her siblings, James Lucas, of Harwick, Vivian (James) Rzeczkowski, of Natrona and Susan (Earl) Kiffer, of South Buffalo Township. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Matthew Lucas in infancy.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and on Thursday from 2-4, 6-8 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a parting prayer service will be held on Friday at 9:30 a.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. in Most Blessed Sacrament Campus, Natrona Heights.  Burial will be private.  To send an online condolence please visit www.cicholski-zidekfh.com.
