Martin J. Skok

Martin J. "Marty" Skok, 67, of Frazer Township, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023 at UPMC St. Margaret Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born May 26, 1955 in Natrona Heights, a son of the late Paul J. and Rita N. (Reczynski) Skok. Marty was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, former Holy Martyrs Church. Marty enjoyed listening to his mother's favorite church hymns and loved many types of music.. He enjoyed entertaining others with his singing and commercial imitations, and spending time with his friends at Community Life. Anyone who knew Marty with his infectious smile was blessed. Marty is survived by his brother, David Skok (Lynn), of Frazer Township, sisters, Rita Skok (Jon), of California and Anita Skok, nephew, Tyler (Sierra) Naylor and by his niece Angela Sosnick., along with many other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Marty was preceded in death by his sisters, Kristen Sosnick and Paula Skok.

Friends will be received on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a parting prayer service will be held on Monday at 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. in Most Blessed Sacrament Campus. Burial will be in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Marty may be made to the Greater Pittsburgh Guild for the Blind, 311 Station Street, Bridgeville, Pa. 15017.
