Margaret A. Heller

Margaret A. (Glauser) Heller, 81, of New Kensington, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 26, 2021. She was born March 4, 1940, in New Kensington to the late Fred and Margaret J. (Chismark) Glauser. Margaret worked for many years as a cook for St. Joseph R.C. Parish in New Kensington. She was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church in New Kensington. Margaret loved her pets and enjoyed reading, baking and was known for her famous apple pie, potato salad and cabbage rolls. But most of all, Margaret loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, John J. Heller; her children, Daniel (Leetha) O'Neil, of Natrona, Janice (Matt) Frantz, of Fawn Township and Becky (Paul) Schlemmer, of Gilpin Township; grandchilden, Kristen (Chase) Ostrosky-Hemphill, Chelsie Sanders (Fiance, Jason Saunders), Noah Tomkiewicz and Jesse Tomkiewicz; great-grandchildren, Brielle and Maya and by her sister, Joann (James) Eslick, of New Castle.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of a blessing service at 5:00 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Margaret may be made to the Guiding Eyes for the Blind, 611 Granite Springs Road, Yorktown, NY 10598.
