Julie Anne Galli, born on October 3, 1965, in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, passed away on May 21, 2025 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Julie was an amazing partner, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose life was defined by her classy elegance, indomitable strength, and adoring love.
Julie received her undergraduate degree in English from Florida Atlantic University and went on to earn a master’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology from George Mason University. Julie’s career flourished first as an organizational consultant and subsequently as general manager at Pro Comp Car Customs Restoration.
Julie's deep commitment to her community was even more impressive than her professional career. She served as Event Chairperson for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and was recognized as Volunteer of the Year in Virginia for her dedication to the Loudoun Literacy Council. Her outstanding service to Animal Friends in Pittsburgh earned her the President’s Volunteer Service Award. Julie’s passion for helping others was always her central focus.
Julie was widely known as an incredibly dedicated fitness role model. Her intense workouts were the stuff of legend. Julie’s zest for life and her astounding courage in the daunting face of cancer made her an inspiration to all who knew her.
Julie is survived by her beloved partner, Bruce Harvey; her brother, Joseph Galli Jr. (Cindy) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and her nieces and nephews, Brittany Galli-Doyle (Brian) of Charlotte, North Carolina; Peter (Meredith) of Jersey City, New Jersey; Madison of Baltimore, Maryland; and Zander Galli of Stanford, California. Also great-nieces and nephews; Blakely, Beckett, Baxter Galli-Doyle, and Sofia Galli.
Julie was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Galli Sr. and Lucille (Mastrocesare) Galli, along with her brother Peter Galli. Her legacy will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her.
A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, May 27, at Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel.
