Joseph A. Simonetti

Joseph A. Simonetti, 71, of New Kensington, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 23, 2023.

Joe was born December 27, 1951, a son of the late Dominick and Alice (Ruzzi) Simonetti. He was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Campus, Natrona Heights. He also was a graduate of Deer Lakes High School and the University of Pittsburgh.

Joe enjoyed watching and playing baseball. He was a talented landscaper, loved plants and being outside with his dog Murphy. Outgoing and a good conversationalist, Joe was interested in politics. He was an ambitious and determined individual, giving all to everything he did in life. Joe will be greatly missed and remembered by the many lives he touched.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Marcia (Maliszewski) Simonetti, children, Joseph A. Simonetti, Jr., of Pittsburgh and Melissa (Timothy Baxter) Simonetti, of Pittsburgh, by his brothers, Valerio (Marilyn) Simonetti, of West Deer, Donald Simonetti, of West Deer and Dominick (Sandra) Simonetti, of West Deer and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his brothers, Anthony, Richard and Robert Simonetti.
