John S. Bua

John S. Bua, 74, of Natrona Heights, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 27, 2023. He was born February 4, 1949, in New Kensington to the late Samuel H. and Mary I. (Guido) Bua. John worked as an HVAC Technician at Shadyside Hospital and later retired in 2013 after 30 years of service as a technician for Air Products in Creighton. He was of the Catholic faith. John was a member of the Rosedale Sportsmen's Association and enjoyed sport shooting, gardening, golfing and his cats. He is survived by his daughters, Sarah (Jason) Bertovich and Emily Bua and by his brother, Thomas A. Bua. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother, Capt. Samuel A. Bua on February 28, 2013.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4, 6-8 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a blessing service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Arnold.
