Jason M. Rusiewicz

Jason M. Rusiewicz, 71, of Natrona Heights, died unexpectedly Thursday, Aug. 13, 2026, at Adult Living at Rosebrook in Sarver.

Born on March 22, 1955 in Natrona Heights, Jason was a devoted son to his parents, Francis and Pauline (Severin) Rusiewicz, with whom he lived until their passing. He graduated from Highlands High School in 1973 and from Clarion University in 1977. Jason worked as a metallographer at Allegheny Ludlum/ATI for 26 years before retiring in 2010. Jason enjoyed working on cars, flying model airplanes, gardening, and watching football. He was a lifelong member of Guardian Angels Parish-Most Blessed Sacrament in Natrona Heights.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Paula Lerfald, and his niece, Adrienne Lerfald, both of Bradenton, Florida.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Rosebrook for the excellent care they provided to Jason every day.

Jason is survived by his sister, Lucy Spinelli of Natrona Heights; his brother, Bruce (Marilyn) Rusiewicz of Natrona Heights; niece Jenny (Luis) Fabregas; nephew Jeff Spinelli; nephew Matt (Tia) Rusiewicz; nephew Joe (Alyse) Rusiewicz; niece Mandy (Tyler) Gault; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home Inc., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights, 724-224-8688. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Guardian Angels Parish in Natrona Heights. Everyone is asked to please meet at the church. Burial to follow at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Twp.
