Janet E. (Miller) Mcconville

Janet Elaine (Miller) McConville, 74, of Brackenridge, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Platinum Ridge, Brackenridge. She was born May 30, 1942, in Big Run to the late Lloyd E. and Alice R. Greene Miller. Janet has been a resident of Platinum Ridge for the past 15 years. She was a graduate of Punxsutawney High School. Janet retired from UPMC St. Margaret Hospital where she worked as a practical nurse. She attended the Natrona Heights Presbyterian Church. Janet enjoyed watching cooking shows, old movies and soap opera's. She is survived by her brother, David R. (Julia) Miller, of Willits, California; her niece who cared for her, Mary Jane (Bob) Hunter, of Penn Hills; sisters-in-law, Janet Miller, of Livermore, California, Jane Delaney, of New Kensington, Genny McConville, of Gilpin Township and Eileen (Richard) Hartzell, of Natrona Heights; brother-in-law, Fred (Alyce) McConville, of Arnold; several other nieces and nephews; and by good friends, Debbie Allen and William Martonik. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick J. McConville on June 28, 1997; and by her brother, Robert Miller. Janet's family would like to thank the staff at Platinum Ridge for their love , care and support, and a special thank you Cori, Millie, Lori and Maria.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2-6 PM in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where funeral ceremonies will be held on Saturday at 10 AM.
