Jack W. Simpson, 96, of Natrona Heights, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. He was born October 2, 1929, in Sarver to the late William P. and Ella I. (Walters) Simpson. Jack retired after 41 years of service as a truck driver for PPG Research in Harmarville, Pa. He was awarded the million mile driving safety award for his service. Jack was a member of Janes United Methodist Church in Creighton, the YMCA in Natrona Heights and was a social member of the VFW Post 894 in Natrona Heights. He enjoyed golfing and hunting. Jack is survived by his wife of 75 years, Marcella J. "Marcy" (Mortimer) Simpson, son, Scott (Karla) Simpson, of Natrona Heights, daughter, Carol Landfried, of Ross Township and by his grandsons, Ryan and Brad Simpson. In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his brothers, William, Kenneth and Alvin Simpson and sisters, Zella Sadowski, Katherine Simpson, Betty Celko and Madeline Burns.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2-6 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688. Additional visitation will be held on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. in Janes United Methodist Church. Officiating will be his pastor the Rev. Zach Bohinski.
