Jack A. Allenberg, 68, of Natrona Heights, passed away from complications related to kidney failure on Friday, April 3, 2026 at his home in Natrona Heights. Jack was born in Natrona on June 1, 1967 to his parents, William and Mary Allenberg, and his 10 siblings. As the baby of 11, Jack “Jackie” developed a unique relationship with each brother and sister over the course of his life. Jack finished his education in just 8th grade, choosing instead to work odd jobs, eventually securing a job as a heavy machinery operator. A hard worker who rose at 5 AM and didn’t return until the early evening, Jack worked for Davison Sand & Gravel with his brothers, and then became a member of IUOW Operating Engineers Local 66 until he retired from Carmen Paliotta Contracting. Through his work, Jack constructed many of the bridges and overpasses you have driven on in Southwestern PA. Jack took pride in – and instilled in his children – the importance of providing for his family.
Jack was the amazing father to Jessica Allenberg and the late Jason Allenberg, and beginning in 1993, to Misty (Chybrzynski) Woody, Nicholas Chybrzynski and Robbie Singer, when he married the late Tamara (“Tami”) Allenberg. Family was everything to Jack, and he taught us to “Love, Understand and Forgive”, a mantra we will carry on beyond his passing.
Jack met the love his life, Tami, in 1993, at the Natrona Fraternal Order of Eagles Club. It was love at first sight, and the two married on her birthday in 1996 to make sure Jack would never forget an anniversary! The two made a beautiful life together until Tami’s passing from cancer in 2017.
Jack was a straight shooter, a great friend, and a sensitive man who smelled like Stetson. He kept a bright smile and an open rocking chair on his front porch for all those who meant so much to him. Friends became like family, and his family grew exponentially with favored nieces, nephews and all of their children. Jack shared his life experiences and “lessons learned” until the day he passed, surrounded by his family and his children, Misty (Tyrone Sr.) Woody, Nick (Niki) Chybrzynski, Robbie (Ashley) Singer, and his grandchildren, Savannah, Tyarah, Tyrone Jr., Robert Luc, John Paul, and Trent, and his great-granddaughter, Le’Lani. Jack also loved his visits with his granddaughter, Milleena. Everyone who loved Jack knew they were loved, and they will definitely miss him and his quality advice about Life and Love.
Jack will be deeply missed and remembered everyday with love. He is survived by his devoted siblings Nancy Swiklinski, Antoinette (Edward) Holben, Joann (Kenneth) Horcicak, Donald (late Mary) Allenberg, and Jeffrey (Lucinda) Allenberg, as well as by many loving nieces and nephews, and sister-in-law Paula Leal. He was preceded in death by his parents, William J. Allenberg, Sr. and Mary Allenberg (Bieranowski), and by his siblings Dorothy (late Edward) Gavalek, Ruth Ann Chelbina, William (late Rachel) Allenberg, Lori Sadowski and Richard (Susan) Allenberg.
You will find few men like Jack in this world. Remember, he loved you.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m. at the Generations House of Worship, 1160 Parkside Drive, Brackenridge. Officiating will be his son Pastor Nicholas Chybrzynski. Burial will be private. Arrangements are under the care of the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., Natrona Heights 724-224-8688.
