Isla Ray Schetlin

Isla Ray Schetlin, 7 days old, passed away in her parents arms at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh on December 30th after struggling with and inoperable bacterial disease. Isla is the daughter of Justin Schetlin and Stephanie Lloyd of Kittanning. She was the light of their life and thieir Christmas Miracle. they waited for her birth excited to start their new journey together as parents and as a family. During her brief visit on earth she enjoyed following her Daddy around the room with her eyes, holding Mommy and Daddy's finger from her incubator, and getting lots of visitors from family and friends to meet her in the NICU. She was very loved and both family and friends will miss her dearly.

Isla is survived by her parents, Stephanie Lloyd and Justin Schetlin; grandparents, Kimba Schetlin, Raymond Schetlin and Jennifer Czapik; uncles, Andrew Cornely and Tyler Schetlin and aunts, ReAnna Schetlin and Jessica Schetlin, and Great Grandma, Pamela Cornely. She was preceded in death by her great great grandpa, Joseph Federici, her great grandparents, Kenneth Sochor, Jeanie (Purk) Sochor, Ray Schetlin, Louise Schetlin, and great aunt, Shelia Sochor.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at the Bairdford United Methodist Church. Family and close friends are invited to pay respects to her urn from 10:00 a.m.- 11:00 a.m. A service will follow at 11:00 a.m with a lunch to be held downstairs afterwords.
