Francis (Frank) S. Cicholski Jr. of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania unexpectedly passed away April 28, 2026, in Philadelphia, PA. Born in Natrona Heights, PA on August 10,1954, he was the son of the late Francis (Frank) Cicholski Sr. and Geneva (Komorowski) Cicholski. Frank spent his early years in Natrona, PA until 1963, when his family relocated to Moundsville, West Virginia.

Frank graduated from John Marshall High School in Glen Dale, WV, and continued his studies at Wheeling College in Wheeling, WV, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. During his college years, he worked at the Consolidation Coal Co. Shoemaker Mine. After leaving the Shoemaker Mine, Frank took on the role of Director of Safety and Human Resources at the Conoco/VENCO Calcining Plant in Moundsville. His career progressed with a transfer and promotion to the Conoco Denve Refinery as the Manager of Human Resources.

Following the merger between Conoco and Phillips and the subsequent sale of the Denver Refinery in 2005, Frank became the Director of Human Resources for Boulder Scientific Company in Mead, CO. In 2006, he returned to Conoco Phillips in Ponca City,OK as the HR Business Partner for Labor Relations. He was later promoted and transferred to HR Business Partner Manager at the Trainer Refinery in Trainer, PA, remaining in this position until the refinery's closure and sale. Frank was then promoted to HR Business Partner Manager at the Conoco Phillips Bayway Refinery in Linden, NJ. He continued in this role after the spinoff that created Phillips 66 and retired from the Phillips 66 Bayway Refinery in October 2016.

Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Nannette (Tiber) Cicholski; his son Frank (Katy) Cicholski III of Morgantown, WV; his daughter Catherine (Tom) Caswell of Phoenixville, PA; and his grandsons Jacob and Nicholas Cicholski of Morgantown, WV. He is also survived by his sister Gina (Dean) Hoops of Moundsville, WV; nephews Michael (Andrea) Hoops of Brownsburg, IN, and Scott (Kristin) Hoops of Bridgeport, OH; great nieces Reagan, Abigail, and Madelyn Hoops; great nephews Calvin and Adam Hoops; stepson Justin (Lori) Benson of Senecaville, Ohio; and step-grandsons Dillon and Kaleb Benson of Maryland.

Frank was a member of St. Basil the Great Catholic Church in Kimberton, PA and a proud 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus for over 40 years.

Services will be private for the family. Interment will take place in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Wheeling, WV. Funeral arrangements are under the care of the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home in Natrona Heights, PA.
