Evelyn N. Cheesman

Evelyn N. (Olczak) Cheesman, 87, of Natrona Heights, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 5, 2021. She was born October 14, 1933, in Natrona Heights to the late Andrew and Anastasia (Wloczewski) Olczak. Evelyn was a 1952 graduate of Har-Brack High School. Evelyn worked as an RN at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. She was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Natrona Heights. Evelyn enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Edward A. (Julann) Cheesman, of Bradys Bend, Ronald "Smoothie" Cheesman, of Natrona Heights and Andrea (William) Sovick, of East Palestine, Ohio; grandchildren, Ashley Skiles, Brianna Skiles, Edward A. Cheesman Jr. and Shaney M. Cheesman; brother, Floyd (Connie) Olczak, of Natrona Heights and by her brother-in-law, Andrew Nesbit, of Lower Burrell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Cheesman on May 19, 1989, brother, Daniel Olczak and by her sisters, Dolores Napierkowski and Joan Nesbit.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688. Officiating will be the Rev. Paul Debacco. Burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
