Elizabeth L. (Smith) Bartosiewicz

Elizabeth L. 'Aunt Betty' Bartosiewicz, 88, of Natrona, passed away Friday, March 3, 2017 at her home. She was born August 19, 1928, in Natrona to the late Jacob and Catherine Calligan Smith. Betty was a 1946 graduate of St. Joseph High School. She retired after 42 years of service as a secretary in the main office for Allegheny Ludlum Steel, Brackenridge. Betty was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Parish in Natrona and was devoted to the Blessed Virgin Mary. She enjoyed shopping, spending time with her family and traveling with her late husband to Europe and all of the 48 lower states. Betty is survived by 15 nieces and nephews and by many great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Bartosiewicz on June 1, 1983; and by her sisters, Catherine G. Miller on June 24, 2007 and Grace Salsgiver on April 10, 1999.
There will be no public visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 11 AM in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church with her pastor the Rev. John B. Lendvai as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Natrona Heights. Arrangements are under the care of the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc. Natrona Heights 724-224-8688.
