Eileen Heretick

December 25, 1922 — March 18, 2021

Eileen (Kamenjar) Heretick, 98, of Natrona Heights, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at her home. She was born December 25, 1922, in Natrona, a daughter of the late Blair and Anna (Augustine) Kamenjar. Eileen was a 1939 graduate of St. Joseph High School and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Duquesne University in 1943. She was the first female Civil Service employee in the Natrona Post Office and then worked many years as a Substitute Teacher for the Highlands School District. Eileen was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Natrona Heights and was also a member of the Women's Civic Club of Allegheny Valley. Eileen excelled at arts and crafts, enjoyed cooking and reading, was an avid Pittsburgh Penguin fan and was always up to date on current events.

Eileen is survived by her five daughters, Therese Lloyd, of Coatesville, Pa., Kathy (Joseph) Yeasted, of Orlando, Florida, Jane (Joseph) Thimons, of Natrona Heights, Mamie (Ronald) Glunt, of Bluffton, South Carolina and Judy (Christopher) Fitzgerald, of Boulder, Colorado; 10 grandchildren, Julie Dziobak, Brian Lloyd, Todd Thimons, Rebecca Gill, Maegan Beishline, Kurt Yeasted, Christy Dom, Jill Fitzgerald, Luke Fitzgerald and Victoria Glunt; 12 great-grandchildren, Rayne, P.J., Emily, Layla, Maya, Crosby, Brekken, Haley, Natalie, Owen, Sadie and Beatrice and by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph J. Heretick on December 4, 1998 and by her siblings, William B. Kamenjar, Agnes Rehak and Louise Kamenjar.

Services and burial for Eileen will be private. Arrangements are under the care of the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., Natrona Heights, Pa. 15065.
