Edward M. Fink, 74, of Tarentum, passed peacefully with his family by his side at his camp in Leeper on Thursday, June 29, 2023. He was born October 20, 1948, in Natrona Heights, a son of the late Edward J. and Anna (Mondy) Fink. Ed was a 1966 graduate of Har Brack High School. He retired after 30 years as a foreman in the grinders department of Allegheny Ludlum Steel, Brackenridge. Ed was of the Catholic faith. He was a member of the Oregon Club in Brackenridge and Eagles in Tarentum. Ed devoted 50 years of service to each of the Highlands/Tar-Brack Little League and to Highlands Hornets, where he was on the board of directors and was known as the 'French Fry King". Ed was a staunch supporter of the Second Amendment. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Ed is survived by his wife of 35 years, Kay (Marshall) Fink, sister, Mary Beth Ireland (Chuck Pendro), of Enon Valley, stepchildren, Michelle (Brian) Bradley, of Fawn Township and David Palovcik, of Finleyville, grandchildren, Nichole (Jeremy) Mazur, Kaylee Bradley (Tyler Cole), Conner Bradley, Kaden Bradley, Morgan Palovcik (Cameron King), Lucas Palovcik and Ryan Palovcik and his great grandchildren, Aurora, Axton and Alayne Mazur and Westley King. And his best friend, Fred Elkin.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 12-2 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights, where funeral ceremonies will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev.
