Edward J. Kisiel, 93, of Natrona Heights, passed away peacefully Monday, June 21, 2021, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot. He was born Sept. 1, 1927, in Natrona Heights, a son of the late Martin and Mary (Walicka) Kisiel. Ed joined the Army at 17 and served his country during World War II. He served with the 3344th Trucking Company stationed in Korea and China. He retired as the supervisor of maintenance and safety after 45 years of service from Allegheny Ludlum Steel, Brackenridge. Ed was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church of Guardian Angels Parish in Natrona Heights. He enjoyed doing yard work and his dog, Annie. Ed is survived by his children, Edward (Roberta) Kisiel, Mary (Craig) Felker and Lawrence Kisiel; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and by his niece, Helen (Tim) Tantlinger. In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor J. (Herrock) Kisiel, whom he missed dearly on July 2, 2015; son, Martin Kisiel; brother, John Kisiel, and by his sister, Helen Trinski. Ed's family would like to thank the staff at Concordia for their loving care and support during his time there. Services and burial for Ed were private.
