Donald 'Don' Huston, 87, returned to his heavenly home on Thursday, June 29, 2017. His devotion to his large and loving family, and his firm belief in God, were of utmost importance to him. Don was born to the late Earl and Myrtle Sober Huston, Fawn Township, on August 26, 1929. He was involved in the Christian community that would be his lifelong support from an early age. He was a Deacon at First Baptist Church in Tarentum for 30 plus years. He attended Purdue University in the late 1940's. Upon returning to Pennsylvania he opened Huston Electonics in Tarentum in 1958, against the advice of his mother who firmly believed TV's were just a fad. Don married, Cassie 'Catherine' McQuaid, on October 23, 1949 in Erie. Together they traveled the world, including his favorites Ireland, Germany, and Italy. He was an avid sports fan attending all of his grandchildren's sporting events, as well as coaching tennis for St. Joseph High School. He played tennis well into his seventies. He was a member of the Wise Men's Club which met every Saturday at Eat N Park. Don is survived by his wife, Cassie; his sons Donnie Jr., Sam, and Paul (Robin) Huston; his daughters, Suzanne (Bob) Rowe, Donna Huston, Marilyn (Chris) Saracco, and Allyson (Mike) Supik; his grandchildren, Michael (Jamie), Tim (Ronelle) Rowe, Erick (Rebecca) Wade, Anne (Mark) Hagen, Shane (Nikki), Neil (Katelyn), Ian (Danielle), Colin Saracco, Maggie (Sam) Kvocak, Jerimiah, Shannon Huston, Nicolas (Mandy), Joshua Supik, Katie (Scott) Resick, Karah (Bryan) Donovan, Ashlee (Jim) Mayuric, Emilee Filous, Andrea (Greg McClain), Brian Huston and 24 great-grandchildren.
