Deborah S. Decroo

Deborah S. (Harpula) Decroo, 72, of Natrona Heights, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. She was born March 19, 1953, in Natrona Heights to the late John F. and Genevieve (Houghton) Harpula. She worked for 38 year as the front office supervisor for Allegheny Valley Hospital. Deborah was a member of Guardian Angels Parish in Natrona Heights. In her free time she enjoyed cooking and crocheting. Christmas was her favorite time of year, and she loved decorating to celebrate the season.

Deborah is survived by her husband Louis Decroo, sons, Chad and Louis Jr., sister, Victoria (Malcolm) Bain, brother, John Harpula; brother-in-laws;  Dr. Wayne J. (Susan) Decroo, and Mark (Kathy) Decroo, and sisters-in-law, Mary Jo (Dave) Boyer and Carol Decroo; and numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces. In addition to her parents Deborah was preceded in death by her brother Joseph Harpula and brother-in-law John Decroo Jr. 

Friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights, 724-224-8688, where a blessing service will be held on Monday at 10 a.m.. Burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
