Deborah A. Allen, 64, of Brackenridge, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 10, 2023. She was born November 3, 1959, in Natrona Heights to the late Harold E. Allen and Elizabeth A. "Betty" (Thompson) Allen Martonik. Deborah worked as a x-ray technician at Shadyside Hospital and operated the Ships Wheel Tavern in Brackenridge, where she was also the cook and bartender. She was of the Catholic faith. Deborah was an avid Pittsburgh Penguins fan and enjoyed playing games on her tablet.She also enjoyed the tradition of celebrating Thanksgiving with her family. She is survived by her dog, "Nugget', brother, Bill Martonik, of Brackenridge, cousin, Randy (Sue) Ajian and their children, Randy (Ashley) Ajian Jr. and Heidi (John) Bursley and by numerous other cousins and friends. In addition to her parents listed above, Deborah was preceded in death by her second father, William L. Martonik.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and on Thursday from 2-4, 6-8 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a blessing service will be held on Friday at 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10;00 a.m. in Most Blessed Sacrament Campus, Natrona Heights. Burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights. Contributions in memory of Deborah may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
