Cyrus Earl Miller Jr., 92 years old, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at the Fair Winds Manor in Sarver, Butler County, PA.
Cyrus was born on February 10, 1933, in North Buffalo Township, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, to the late Cyrus Earl Miller Sr. and Charlotte Pauline (Claypool) Miller.
Cyrus Earl Miller Jr.’s schooling ended when he started the 9th grade at Leechburg High School, PA.
Cyrus then began working on farms and the PRR (Pennsylvania RailRoad) until he was 20 years old. Cyrus joined the Army and served from 1953-1955. From the time he exited the military until he retired, he worked in various Television Repair Shops. A couple of times he even tried his hand at his own Earl Miller Color TV Repair Shop, but along the way he worked at Don’s TV, Sam’s TV, Freilino’s Appliance and TV, Norris’ TV, Montgomery Wards, Ken Craig Electronics, Goodhousekeeping and then in retirement he drove a school bus for a couple of years.
Cyrus Earl Miller Jr. married Florence Agnes (Dougherty) on August 25, 1956, in Ford City, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. They later divorced in 1972. Cyrus and Florence had 6 children and one stillborn baby boy: Earl (1957-1993), Dennis (1959-2010), stillborn baby boy (1961), John, Denise, Charles and Daniel.
Cyrus Earl Miller Jr. married Rebecca A (Josefczyk) on August 10, 1980. They divorced just a couple years later. Rebecca had a son, Kevin.
Cyrus is survived by 2 sisters, Susan J. Miller and Jennifer L. (Bob) Russell.
Also surviving are both ex wives, 4 children, Kevin and many grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Cyrus was preceded in death by his paternal Grandparents, William Edward Miller and Mary Elizabeth (Heilman); his maternal Grandparents, Burleigh Claypool and Sarah Ann (Willyard); brother Joseph Conrad Miller, who never married; brother William Burleigh Miller; sister-in-law Alberta Louise (McKee); sister Felicity Ann (Miller) Partin; brother- in- law, Eugene Frank Partin and the 3 sons mentioned above.
Burial will be at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Pennsylvania.
