Clarence Negley

May 8, 1928 — Sep 14, 2026

Clarence Negley, 98, of Sarver, peacefully went to meet his Lord and Savior on Monday, September 14, 2026

Clarence was a kind, gentle soul that always had a smile and an endearing sense of humor.

His greatest accomplishments were love of God, love of family, serving in The Seabees alongside his 4 brothers in WW2 and being a self employed plasterer and builder.

He loved the home he built with his own 2 hands and watching the wildlife & hummingbirds in his yard.

He loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was adored as a husband, father, pap, uncle and friend.

He is survived by his children; Amy Penn (Fidel Velez), Brenda Scholl, Jeffrey (Brenda) Negley, Allen (Eileen) Negley and Marcia Trgina; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Ringer; and long term companion, Rose Boartz.

In addition to his parents Clarence was preceded in death by his loving wife Shirley Jean, children; Glenn, Gail, and Craig. Siblings; Harry, Howard, Harvey and Harold, Blanche Criner, Ruth Bartel, Anna Mae Wolfe, and Doris Fotheringham

Clarence wanted to be remembered not in death but in celebrating life.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
