Cindy L. (Yingling) Walters, 71, of Lower Burrell, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, May 28, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born April 26, 1955, in Natrona Heights to the late Leroy and Wilma (Heath) Yingling.
Cindy was a 1973 graduate of Highlands High School and worked for many years as a loan officer for Clearview Credit Union in Lower Burrell. She loved animals, especially her cherished fur babies, Moe, Zoey, and Cutie.
Cindy is survived by her sons, Grant M. (Jamie) Walters of Natrona Heights and Ty J. (Shonie) Walters of West Deer; her beloved grandchildren, Jrake, Aiden, Mia, Ava, Lincoln, Isaac, and Amelia; her sister, Debbie (Raymond) Kerr of Tarentum; her niece, Kresta (Joseph “Jay”) Stone; her great-nephews and great-nieces, Logan, Tyrus, Santiago, Isabella and Breanna; and her great-great-nephew and great-great-niece, Nico and Moira.
In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by her husband, Michael G. Walters, on March 13, 2013, and her nephew, Ray “Brad” Kerr.
Cindy will be remembered for her caring heart, unwavering devotion to her family, and the love she shared with those closest to her. She especially cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren and took great pride in watching her family grow. She had a kind spirit, a wonderful sense of humor, and a special gift for making everyone feel welcome, loved, and cared for.
The family would also like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to her devoted caregiver, Pat Aber, for the compassionate care, kindness, friendship, and support she provided to Cindy over the last two years.
Friends will be received on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights, PA 15065, (724) 224-8688. Burial will be private.

The family invites relatives and friends to join them for a luncheon celebrating Cindy’s life on Monday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Praha Hotel, 400 Corbet Street, Tarentum, PA 15084.
