Chester J. Romanowski Jr.

Chester J. Romanowski Jr., 84, of Saxonburg, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 26, 2025 at Concordia, Cabot. He was born September 13, 1941, in Natrona Heights to the late Chester J. and Josephine (Chybrzynski) Romanowski Sr. Chester served his country in the United States Navy. He worked as a certified millwright at several area steel mills. Chester was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, Natrona Heights. Chester was a lifelong auto racing fan and enjoyed restoring and showing his classic car. Chester is survived by his children, Holly Slezak, of Natrona Heights and Jeff (Chris) Romanowski, of Franklin, grandchildren, Jacob Romanowski, Morgan Slezak, Isabel Romanowski (Colt Hughes) and Tyler Slezak, sister, Mary Jo Perman, of Rochester, NY and sister-in-law, Sherry Romanowski, of Hopewell Twp. In addition to his parents, Chester was preceded in death by his wife, Linda L. (Mills) Romanowski on August 24, 2022, brother, Anthony Romanowski and sister, Patricia L. Yunker.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 3-7 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a blessing service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Private burial will be in Mt.
