Charles W. Pfeffer

December 8, 1925 — July 8, 2016

Charles W. Pfeffer, 90, of Natrona Heights, passed away Friday, July 8, 2016 at his home. He was born January 8, 1926, in Brackenridge, a son of the late John L. and Lena Leota Rolls Pfeffer. Charles was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Army. He was a former member of the Church of the Brethren in Natrona Heights and was a member of the D.A.V. and a life member of the VFW Post 894 in Natrona Heights . Charles worked as the Meat Department Manager for the Acme Grocery Store in Brackenridge. He enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing and racing go-karts. Charles is survived by his children, Billie D. (Bobby) Stanford, of Texas, Alan R. (Mary Jo) Pfeffer, of Apollo, Joyce E. McNutt, of Moon Township, Perry V. Pfeffer, of Natrona Heights and Lisa Wikert, of Freeport, 13 grandchildren, numerous great and great great grandchildren; brother, Larry E. Pfeffer; and by his sister, Beverly Wurmb. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Wheeler Pfeffer in 1998; his son, Charles W. Pfeffer Jr.; and by 1 brother and 3 sisters.
