Carol E. Gibson

Carol E. (Erb) Gibson, 82, of Tarentum, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. She was born January 12, 1943, in New Kensington a daughter of the late James and Mildred (Johnson) Erb. Carol was a 1960 graduate of Ken High. She worked as an assembler for M.S.A. in Cranberry and held various other jobs throughout her working career. Carol was a member of the former First Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Kensington. She enjoyed her trips to Lancaster, playing the piano, crossword puzzles, collecting angels and was an avid Elvis fan. Carol is survived by her daughter, Lisa Bolcato, of Natrona Heights, grandchildren, Deanna (Justin) Nickl, Ashley Kennedy, Erica Bolcato (fiance, Jack Ramsey) and Mark Gibson Jr., great grandchildren, Dylan, Alexis and Carson and by her sister, Barbara Beacom, of Tarentum. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Gibson, son, Mark Gibson and by her granddaughter, Lauren Bolcato.

Friends will be received on Sunday from 2-4, 6-8 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a funeral service will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
