Arthur J Rieger

Arthur J. Rieger, 84, of Fawn Township, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. He was born February 28, 1938, in Natrona Heights to the late Paul C. and Lucille (Jack) Rieger Sr. Art retired as a cabinet maker from Phillips Cabinet Shop. In addition to the love for his family, he enjoyed a lifetime of bird watching, boating, and fishing. His memory will be cherished by his wife of 61 years, Loretta (Greggs) Rieger; daughters, Shirley (Dennis) Bohatch, of Buffalo Township and Diane (Tony) Spears, of Natrona Heights; grandchildren, Bryan (Lindsay) Spears, Michele Spears (Morgan), Alisha (Ryan) Johnson and Joshua (Lauren) Alcorn; sisters, Betty Lou "Boop" Mell, of Penn Hills and Myrtle "Midge" Eckenrod, of Brackenridge ; six great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. In addition to his parents, Art was preceded in death by his brother, Paul C. Rieger Jr. and by his sister, Sharlene Bowman. Burial for Art was private at Mount Airy Cemetery.
