William H. Schreckengost

William H. Schreckengost, 86, of Fawn Township, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at the Orchards of Saxonburg. He was born March 29, 1934, in Natrona Heights, a son of the late Joshua and Stephania (Sekeras) Schreckengost. Bill worked as a heavy equipment mechanic for Fawn Developers before retiring. He was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Natrona Heights, the Saxonburg Sportsman Club, Outdoor Life Lodge and was a social member of the Natrona Heights V.F.W. Bill was an avid gardener and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his daughter, Susan (Regis) Drahos, of Fawn Township; grandchildren, Regina Callender and Regis (Holly) Drahos Jr.; great-grandchildren, Jason "JJ" (Virginia), Olivia (Coleman), Emma, Sam and Dakota; great great-granddaughter, Delilah; brother, Herman (Joy) Schreckengost, of Fawn Township and by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy A. (Lesko) Schreckengost on January 30, 2009; son, William H. Schreckengost Jr. on October 22, 1971; brothers, Steve Sekeras, Paul Sekeras, John Sekeras, Frank Sekeras and Joseph Schreckengost and by his sisters, Margaret Merrow, Julie Karpinski and Mary Vartanian.

Services and burial for Bill will be private. Arrangements are under the care of the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., Natrona Heights 724-224-8688. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Bill may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 North Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago, IL. 60601 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
