Thomas J. Conroy

Thomas J. Conroy, 84, of Buffalo Township, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Wednesday, February 1, 2023.  He was born November 27, 1938, in Natrona Heights a son of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Evans) Conroy.  Tom was a 1956 graduate of St. Joseph High School and received his bachelor of science degree in accounting from St. Vincent College.  He was a partner with Schneider Downs and Company in Pittsburgh, retiring in 1999.  Tom was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Joseph Church in Cabot, Hillcrest Country Club and a former member of the International Group of Accounting Firms.  He enjoyed golfing and hunting.  Tom is survived by his wife of 63 years, Elizabeth (Thimons) Conroy,  his children, Gerard (Karen) Conroy, of Buffalo Twp., Kathy (Steve) Dines, of Buffalo Twp. and Matthew Conroy, of Natrona Heights, grandchildren, Thomas Conroy, Sergei Dines, Michael Dines, Daniel Dines, Heather Dines, Tiffany Dines, Richard Conroy and Elizabeth Conroy, great grandchildren, Isabella and Josiah, siblings, William Conroy, of Miami, Florida, Robert (Dawn) Conroy, of Gibsonia, Vincent (Roberta) Conroy, of Tyler Hill, Margaret (Donald) Zakman, of Florida, and Susan (Richard) Farrell, of South Bend, Indiana and by several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his grandson, Otto Conroy, great granddaughter, Briella, brothers, Dennis and Charles Conroy and by his sisters, Kathleen Conroy and Maureen Hewitt.
