Richard J. Taliana

Richard J. Taliana, 67, of Tarentum, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia, Cabot. He was born June 6, 1950, in Natrona Heights to the late Joseph H. and Ann E. Clusta Taliana. Richard was a 1968 graduate of Har-Brack High School. He retired after 48 years of service as a metal fabricator for Wolfe Metal Fab in Lower Burrell. Richard was a member of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Parish in Natrona Heights. He enjoyed baking and watching TV with his grandchildren. Richard is survived by his children, Laura (Daniel) Mazza, of Fawn Township and Richard (Janis) Taliana Jr., of Fawn Township; his grandsons, Jacob Taliana, Connor Mazza, Cole Mazza, Rocco Taliana and Roland Taliana; and by his sister, Kathleen Saylor, of Natrona Heights.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 10 am in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 10th Avenue and Carolina Street, Natrona Heights. Burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights. Arrangements are under the care of the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., Natrona Heights. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Richard may be made to the Good Samaritan Hospice, 134 Marwood Road, Cabot, Pa. 16023.
