Richard G. Decroo

Richard G. DeCroo, 71, of Buffalo Township, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. He was born May 31, 1952, in Natrona Heights, a son of the late Richard C. and Jean (Skoff) DeCroo. Richard was a 1970 graduate of Highlands High School and received his bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from California State College. He retired after 45 years of service from Oberg Industries in Buffalo Township, where he worked as a machinist. Richard was a member of the Frazer Township Sportsman Club. He enjoyed fishing and followed NASCAR. Richard also enjoyed hockey having been  and amateur and high school coach at Armstrong for several years. Richard is survived by his wife of 47 years, Teresa (Jones) DeCroo, children, Danielle (Sam) Atkinson, of Buffalo Township and Eric DeCroo, of Buffalo Township, grandson, Cameron Atkinson, sisters, Jacqueline C. (Bob Rabel) DeCroo. of Lexington, KY., and Susan DeCroo, of Natrona Heights and by a family friend, Nancy Evanoff, of Natrona Heights.
