Norma Jean (Foust) Bartholic, 93, of Tarentum, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 26, 2023. She was born August 9, 1930, in Curtisville to the late Charlie and Annie (Barger) Foust. Norma was of the Presbyterian faith. She was a Tarentum Business owner for many years. Norma enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and spending time with her family. She loved a good party and there was always laughter and happiness when she was around. Norma is survived by her children, Gloria (Joseph) Moxie, of Creighton, Richard (Diane) Bartholic, of Ames, Iowa and Darlene Bartholic, of Allegheny Township, 5 grandchildren, David (Catherine) Shutak, Jeffrey Shutak, Lorie (James) Lassinger, Derek Bartholic and Kyle (Danielle) Bartholic, 14 great-grandchildren, 4 great great-grandchildren and by her brother, John E. "Jack" Foust, of Cabot. In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Bartholic on April 6, 2001, brothers, Howard, Richard and Chuck Foust and by her sisters, Arlene Leslie, Martha Brown, Louise Malethic and Ester Neff.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 2-4, 6-8 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where funeral ceremonies will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be her grandson, Pastor Kyle Bartholic. Burial will follow in Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Indiana Township. In lieu of flowers. contributions in memory of Norma may be made to a church or charity of the donor's choice.
