Nora M. (Mcguire) Daloisio

Nora M. (McGuire) Daloisio, 87, of Natrona Heights, passed away Monday, April 25, 2016 in Fair Winds Manor, Winfield Township. She was born May 11, 1928, in Johnetta, Gilpin Township, a daughter of the late Patrick J. and Mary Alice Doverspike McGuire. Nora worked as a teacher at St. Mary's Catholic School in Kittanning and later as a proof reader for the Leader Times in Kittanning. She was a member of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Natrona Heights and was a former member of the Ladies Guild of the church. Nora enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, crocheting, dancing, playing cards and board games, entertaining and especially spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, John M. (Jani) Daloisio, of Kittanning and Mary Ann Fecik, of White Oak; seven grandchildren, Steven C. Fecik (fiance, Erin Wallace), Andrew Baum, Valerie (Boris) Khaskin, Kelsi (Dan) Wren, Katelynn Fecik, Jordan Daloisio (Bryce Johnston) and Gabe Daloisio; and by her 9 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Daloisio on August 12, 2008; daughter, Patricia 'Trixie' Baum; son-in-law, Steven M. Fecik; brothers, Patrick C. and John W. 'Bill' McGuire; and sisters Rebecca Swoager and Irene M. Ruffner. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4, 6-8 PM in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a blessing service will be held on Thursday at 11:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 Noon in Most Blessed Sacrament Church with her pastor the Rev. James Mazurek as celebrant. Burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
