Marie (Drewn) Walkiewicz

Marie Walkiewicz, 85, formerly of Natrona Heights, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017 in Sugar Creek Rest Skilled Nursing Home, Sugar Creek Township. She was born September 10, 1931, in Natrona Heights to the late Harry and Ann Drewn. Marie was a graduate of Har-Brack High School. She worked as an operator for Bell Telephone in Tarentum, she also worked at East Deer Personal Care Home in Creighton and Giant Eagle in Sarver. Marie was a former member of St. Mary, Mother of God R.C. Church in Freeport. She enjoyed watching TV and listening to country music. Marie is survived by her son, John Walkiewicz, of Pittsburgh; and by her brother, Joseph Drewn, of New Hampshire. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alex Walkiewicz in 1998.
