Margaret M. (Smith) Naughton

Margaret M. Naughton, 76, of Natrona Heights, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017 in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. She was born February 10, 1941, in Brackenridge to the late Edwatd T. and Margaret M. Keay Smith. Margie was a graduate of St. Joseph High School and the Mason Felix Beauty School. She was the owner of the former Towne Shoppe Beauty Salon. Margie was a member of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Natrona Heights. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, cooking, baking, Nascar, spending time with family and friends and she cherished her granddaughters. Margie is survived by her son, Edward T. (Jen) Naughton of Natrona Heights and by her two granddaughters, Tori and Olivia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Martin J. 'Marty' Naughton on October 28, 2004, grandson; T.J. Naughton; and by her brother, Thomas E. Smith.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4, 6-8 PM in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle St. Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a blessing service will be held on Wednesday at 12:30 PM. Burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heighs. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Harrison Hills Volunteer Fire Company, 5300 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, Pa. 15065.
