Margaret Lukens

Margaret (Margie) Lukens, 58, of Highland, Mich., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015. She was born Aug. 21, 1957, in New Kensington, the daughter of Margaret Holka Bakos, of Lower Burrell, and the late Joseph Bakos Sr. Margie was a 1975 graduate of Burrell High School. She was a licensed electrolysis in the state of Michigan and was once married to William Lukens, of Key West, Fla. Margie enjoyed gardening, shopping, music, family, TV and pets. Margie will always be missed, never forgotten and always in all of our hearts. Margie is survived by her daughter, Jacquelyn Lukens, of Highland, Mich.; her mother, Margaret Bakos, of Lower Burrell, and other family located in Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Connecticut, New York and Missouri, including sisters, Tonia Taylor and Katherine (Katie) Bakos McElhinney; and brothers, Joseph Bakos, Dennis (Angel) Bakos and Jeffrey Bakos. Margie was also the caregiver of Bella Lue Lukens, her four-legged rottie grandpup. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Bakos Sr.; grandparents, Michael (Mary) Bakos and Peter (Rose) Holka.
A home-going service for family and friends will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015, in the CICHOLSKI-ZIDEK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights, 724-224-8688.
